Here are some tricks to make windows 7 faster.
1.One way to copy/move files to an unopened place
Select the file or folder, then press and release the Alt key to bring up the Windows Explorer menu. Select Edit, then either Move to folder or Copy to folder. A dialog box will let you select where to put it. For even greater convenience, you can put those two commands on the context menu.
2. Beef up context menus
You are most likely familiar with the concept of the context menu. If you right-click on the Windows 7 desktop or in an application, a menu of options appears that varies based on your context -- what application you're in and what you're doing.
As they stand, context menus help you work faster in Windows 7 by providing quick access to common functions. However, by pressing the Shift key as you right-click the mouse, you can access an expanded list of context menu items that enable you to work even more efficiently. For example, if you Shift-right-click on a file or folder, one of the options that appears is "Copy as path," which copies the directory path to the file or folder location.
3.Get the most out of Jump Lists
Jump Lists are one of Windows 7′s secret efficiency weapons. With previous versions of Windows, the Start Menu displayed a list of recently used files that users navigated to with one click. But this list linked to only certain file types, and it showed only the last 10 files, quickly cycling items off the list.
The Jump Lists in Windows 7 take the Recent Items concept and apply it on an application-by-application basis to give you fast, one-click access to the files you’ve used most recently. A little arrow to the right of the application name in the Start Menu indicates the presence of a Jump List. You hover over the application to expand the Jump List and see a list of the recently opened files for that program; click the one you want to open it instantly
4. Organize your files with libraries
Windows has offered relatively logical file organization for some time now by providing Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos folders and adding those types of content to the appropriate folder by default. But sometimes this filing system is inadequate or confusing. For example, you might be working on a project that uses multiple file types, or files and folders that don’t fit the default Windows folders.
5.Make the maximum use of keyboard shortcuts
Navigating Windows 7's graphical interface with a mouse is fine much of the time, but if you are busy typing away, it can be an inconvenience to move a hand away from the keyboard to the mouse and back. Thankfully, Windows has long included key combinations and shortcuts to help you get around and perform an array of tasks without taking your hands off the keyboard.
We're all familiar with basic shortcuts such as Ctrl+C for copying a selection and Ctrl+V for pasting it, but there are hundreds available.

Facebook Vs Orkut
Now let us discuss about the social networking sites. Facebook and Orkut are the main social networking sites in India. But nowadays Facebook wipes out orkut from the list in india. Many Indian Orkut users are transferred to facebook, even though it is much difficult to handle than Orkut
Orkut has tried many times to carry over Facebook by introducing 'Like' button, 'scrap all' etc. but they failed to utilise these facilities into the users. Another problem that I analyzed is that the 'Invisible' option in the chat box. It affects very badly on a user's tendency to chat and communicate with his/her friend. If there is an 'Invisible' option, then everyone will try to hide from his/her friends and hence it reduces communication. And also there is a wide range of applications in Facebook like Farmville, Top Ten Friends Photos, etc. Facebook allow group chatting and gruop discussions. In Facebook we can record a video by using a webcam and upload it on our profile. These all differ Facebook from Orkut.
But Orkut always have a descent layout than Facebook. Also 'Friend Suggestions' in orkut is very nice. It helps us to find out our friends very easily. Orkut has a very nice 'friend list' and theme selections. Facebook do not allow us to use the stylish fonts as profile name. Another advantage of Orkut is that we can decide which part of the profile is visible to the different types of users (like only friends, anyone in Orkut) and also we can block users, report spam, and repost abuse in Orkut.
Anyway Facebook Vs Orkut battle still going on India.

Apple to refresh MacBook Air in June or July, says report
Apple will refresh its popular MacBook Air line of ultra-thin notebooks in June or July, a Taiwanese publication said today, citing unnamed Asian supplier sources.
According to DigiTimes, the MacBook Airs will feature processors from Intel's Sandy Bridge architecture, and boast Thunderbolt connectivity, two moves Apple made in February when it launched new MacBook Pro models.
The current MacBook Air line relies on Intel's Core 2 Duo processors, making it one of the last two Apple systems to use that aged CPU: So far this year, Apple has transitioned both the MacBook Pro and iMac to the dual- and quad-core Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors with the Sandy Bridge architecture.
Moving the MacBook Air to the same CPUs -- likely to a dual-core to match the entry-level 13-in. MacBook Pro -- would be a natural step for Apple, which typically rolls out processor upgrades in successive lines.
Current MacBook Air 13.3-inch and 11.6-inch models are equipped with three-year-old Intel Core 2 Duo processors and USB. In April, Apple quietly began replacing the solid state drives (SSD) in the smaller MacBook Air models with faster ones.
Meanwhile, current MacBook Pros, which launched in February, feature Sandy Bridge Intel Core i5 processor (four to five times faster than the Core 2 Duo L9400 found in current, larger MacBook Airs, according to PCMag lab tests), and Thunderbolt transfer technology that's roughly 21 times the speed of normal USB.
Despite all this, the MacBook Air is one of Apple's most popular Mac products. Another Concord Securities analyst recently estimated that Apple shipped 1.1 million MacBook Airs in the last three months of 2010, making it Apple's most successful Mac product launch to date, the analyst qualified.
